Marketplace 2.2.2 released

Marketplace - Classified Ads for Joomla! Marketplace, the Joomla! classified ads extension, is now available in Version 2.2.2. Of course it's available for FREE! Just go and get the latest and greatest version from the Downloads area.

Marketplace 2.2.2 is a bugfix release and available for Joomla! 1.5 and Joomla! 1.7.

In Marketplace 2.2.1 some files and classes have been renamed due to a name conflict with other extensions. Unfortunately I forgot one file and that caused the category sort in the backend not to work. This bug is fixed in Marketplace 2.2.2.

No new features have been added to Marketplace 2.2.2 compared to 2.2.1.

Installation:

Step 1:
Get the newest version from the Marketplace download area

Step 2:
Install the component com_marketplace_VERSION.zip just like any other Joomla! component via backend installer

Step 3:
Create a menu entry with a link to the Marketplace index view

Upgrade from Marketplace 2.x:

Step 1:
Get the newest version from the Marketplace download area

Step 2:
Install the component com_marketplace_VERSION.zip over the running Marketplace 2.x. No additional tasks required

It is not a trivial task to install, configure and manage a classified ads marketplace. You should at least be familiar with the basic tasks of the Joomla! CMS e.g. howto install extensions, create a menu entry and use the backend.
