Discussions 1.2 released

Discussions 1.2 is a Joomla! 1.5 native forum extension.

Version 1.2 offers new features e.g. YouTube videos in posts, SEO improvements, backend language files and more.

Discussions is running on Joomla! 1.5 in native mode. No legacy mode required. This forum extension will be ported to Joomla! 1.6 as soon as a Release Candidate (RC) is out.

New in Discussions 1.2:

• Language files for backend (english and german included)
• YouTube tag. Now it's possible to embed YouTube videos in forum posts
• YOOeffects support for image display
• Forum specific banner places. Configurable in Discussions backend forum tab
• SEO improvements for index page. Meta tags title, description and keywords configurable in language file
• SEO improvements for forum page. Meta tags title, description and keywords configurable in Discussions backend forum tab
• Bug fix: Search plugin now works with all languages and SEF and standard URLs

Upgrade from 1.0 and 1.1:

1. Make a backup!!!
2. Save changes you made e.g. in CSS file or language file.
3. Just install Discussions 1.2 over the running version.
