Marketplace 2.1 released

Marketplace - Classified Ads for Joomla! Marketplace the Joomla! 1.5 native classified ads extension is now available in version 2.1.

New in Marketplace 2.1:

  • Backend language files: Backend now also completely translatable via language files (English and German) included
  • My entries: Users can now show a list with only their own entries
  • Republish: If an entry expires, users are able to republish it (configurable)
  • Profiles: Users are able to enter their contact data in a profile. This works as a preset when creating a new entry
  • RSS feeds: RSS Feeds for all entries or entries in a specific category are available (configurable)
  • Simplified installation: Needed plugins are installed during component installation
  • Simplified upgrade: Marketplace upgrade script now uses "method=upgrade". Just install Marketplace 2.1 over a running Marketplace 2.0. Everything's done automatically (new database tables, fields, indexes, ...). It's almost magic ;-)

Bugfixes:

  • New entry page now has a page title
  • No more nasty warning message regarding entry expiration
  • Solved a problem with the backend filter (threw error when switching tabs).

This extension is available for subscribers of the Marketplace plan only. If you would like to subscribe, please create a normal free account and then go to the Marketplace product page. If you are logged in, you will find a subscription link there.
