22.02.2010 21:08login page for users and registration page?Hi where do you find the login and registration page for users ? Do you have to use joomla login modul in the marketplace site? when i click write add: You have to register and log in to write ads. and when i click my ads :You have to log in to view your ads. but where? thanks in advance |

24.02.2010 18:25Re: login page for users and registration page?Marketplace needs registered users on your website. You have to enable user registration and yes then the login module. 24.02.2010 19:29Re: login page for users and registration page?thanks for your respons.... ok but where do you enable user registration? and when the login module is activated, will marketplace automaticly handle the users info into the database?or do you have to change something? and what do you mean by this: Marketplace does not work for .... (and logged in) users. users have to register first and well then they are logged in into marketplace... these users should be able to use marketplace then? or? regards //e-citizen |

I am struggling with the same problem though, i installed the login module, enabled users registration... all goes fine, when you registrate you get an emailnotification and after that you can log in and start writing your ad... But, when you save your ad, nothing happens. Ad will not show up and I saw in the backend that under "users"in the marketplace component, users are not added. they are just added in the joomla backend, not in the marketplace component. The ad which is saved, is also not added in the marketplace component. i tried everything, but I m really out of options:( i hope you can help me. There are no users by default. The Marketplace users table is for special users like Admins, Moderators,... > (When you visit my website)... the ads you see on the left, I added in the backend, just to try it out. If everything is setup correctly I would guess that there is some kind of conflict with other stuff. Okay, i disabled some stuff, maybe it works now... Do you mean (auto publish) the flag "Publish Ad by default"? I dont see any autopublish flag. Ok lets try again. Thanx again! Fred |
