Image Size Settings not applying - Images always too big

Hi, I am running Marketplace on Joomla 1.5.12, and have everything installed and working properly save one thing. Image uploading. I have the image upload number set to three, two colums, and up to 2mb max file size.

However, when I go to create an ad, no matter what size the image is, I always get a message about the file size being too big. I have the parameters set in the admin of joomla correctly, I have even gone so far as to change the value in the database table.

Any bugs out there about the image max file size setting not appylying, or maybe the checks in php for image size are not coded for Joomla 1.5.12?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jon

Re: Image Size Settings not applying - Images always too big

Hi Jon,

probably you have to adjust the setting for file uploads in the php.ini

This is how it is set in my php.ini

upload_max_filesize = 2M

Achim

Re: Image Size Settings not applying - Images always too big

Hi Achim,

Love the software, great stuff.

My only bug bear at the moment is I can't adjust the thumbnail size in the category layout of marketplace.

Is it possible to adjust these thumbnails and if so can you tell me which file I need to use please ?

Cheers

Mr Witherkay

Re: Image Size Settings not applying - Images always too big

I have exactly the same problem. When during tests I changed directory access parameters (to 777) I achieved only the possibility of adding pictures via admin control panel - but trying from the webpage there is still: "image was to big".
