lowrider2025 2 posts --- Location: n.a.	27.04.2011 14:09 username or name from joomla users for discussions users Tweet Hi, Would it be possible to use the 'name' instead of 'username' for the users table where discussions keeps its users ? We are using discussions v1.3 for joomla 1.5.22 in an intranet environment and we use a combination of matricule numbers(=username) and real names(=name). Any help in solving this would be greatly appreciated. greets Tim

Although there is another problem when using real names. What if you have 37 "Tom"s in you userbase? That does not really make sense. On most of the modules as JComments you can choose wich name will it show: Name or Username I think it will be OK to load on Discusson DB both Name and Username, and just show the one Admin choose...
