09.07.2010 06:02mysql_fetch_row() errorThis may be a duplicate post: I am having issues with RC2. I upgraded from beta 2 and am now getting the following errors when I go to the category list: Warning: mysql_fetch_row() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in C:\ApacheSites\Petspeed\libraries\joomla\database\database\mysql.php on line 359 Warning: mysql_free_result() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in C:\ApacheSites\Petspeed\libraries\joomla\database\database\mysql.php on line 362 I am running XAMPP 1.7.3 on Windows 2003 64bit with MySQL 5.1.41 and PHP 5.3.1 _____________________________ The next thing that happens is that when you click a category that states it has a number of entries, you then come to that listing page and get the error message that says: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\ApacheSites\Petspeed\components\com_marketplace\views\category\tmpl\default.php on line 275 And none of the entries show up. Yet, when you go to the back-end, all of the entries show up and you can edit them with no effect on the front-end listing. Please email me at mwestling at sbcglobal dot net with responses as I cannot sit on the site waiting for a response. Your help would be greatly appreciated. |

10.07.2010 18:14Re: mysql_fetch_row() errorI am trying and trying. Different configurations, Loglevel to "notice" and so on but I cannot reproduce these warnings. I just don't get them. Which Joomla! version are you using? Any SEO components in use? SEF Links enabled? Any messages in the webserver logfile? If you set Joomla! to debug mode, do you get some useful messages? Have you tried a clean install? Regards Achim -- Achim Fischer Codingfish Limited www.codingfish.com |

12.07.2010 21:34Re: mysql_fetch_row() errorI attached the config sheet and screenshot of the error. I have the debug output in PDF format, just need to know where to send it. I tried Symbiot's suggestion, created a new parent category, moved all of the children to the new parent, and deleted the old parent. This did fix the list issue when you choose a category, but did not fix the parent page issue. |

12.07.2010 23:44Re: mysql_fetch_row() errorOK, I see this mysql_fetch_row() warning. 1st and very important: It's a warning and not an error. You should be able to turn them off by setting Global Configuration -> Server -> Error Reporting to "None" which I would recommend for live servers anyway. I think I know where those warnings come from and will remove them in the next version. Regards Achim -- Achim Fischer Codingfish Limited www.codingfish.com |
