23.06.2010 11:24Marketplace 2 RC 2 availableHi, the release candidate 2 for Marketplace 2 is now available in the download area "Commercial Joomla! Extensions". This area is only visible for subscribers of the Marketplace plan. Compared to RC1 there are a few new features (see news on startpage). If there are still any errors on your system please report them and give me your system information including versions: Operating system, MySQL, PHP, Browser. For example (I don't know is anything of the following already in plans for final release): 1.User profile (contact data, right now user must enter it again on every new ad submission) 2.Expired ads not to be auto-deleted, but still in user's "my ads" for some time with a possibility to be renewed-resubmitted 3.Photos opening in lightbox As I can not see any settings in the backend, I suppose this what we can see in RC2 isn't all? Will anything of upper 3 features be included?  |

1 + 2 will come. Probably later.
That's already working (see image) People are starting to use RC versions on production sites. I need a base version out cause from that one I will deliver upgrade scripts. I was going to ask about contact details visible without login, but now I see thread here about it. It would be nice. The thing about renewing the ads... People are very "spoiled" with good applications on the internet, and it's common for classified ads sites lately to have that option... If I don't have it, my site just isn't good enough. |
