29.04.2010 23:47Migrate/Upgrade Marketplace 1.3 to 2.0Is there a way to migrate/upgrade my existing Marketplace 1.3 to the 2.0 version? A script for this would be great, and I wouldn't lose the existing contents. Thanks! |

I have a live site with several entries in Mp1, and I don't want to loose those.. how do we migrate Achim? www.akvarieplanter.dk |

19.05.2010 18:57Re: Migrate/Upgrade Marketplace 1.3 to 2.0yeah I know you are waiting for an upgrade script. Still figuring out whats the best and easiest way to let you do that. Not everyone is able to run pure sql scripts. Maybe I will rename the new marketplace tables to marketplace2 so you could install both versions and the click on the upgrade button. I am currently finishing Discussions 1.0 final which gets menu links into forums (categories). This will go into Marketplace as well and will give you nices URLs. 25.06.2010 09:41Re: Migrate/Upgrade Marketplace 1.3 to 2.0Hi Achim. I know some of you are waiting for that. My first attempt to rename everything to Marketplace2 was not good. I don't like it. Next attempt is to provide a little sql script to backup the 2 tables ( categories and ads). Then on installation of Marketplace 2 import the data from the backup tables.
