25.04.2010 18:37Re: No valid database connectionWhen using php5 you can use mysqli to increase the speed of your database. This also fixes the no valid database connection problem. It could be a solution. But I'm not shure wether there will be problems with my Joomla Installation. www.panmusic.ch |

25.04.2010 19:27Re: No valid database connectionI have just found this comment in a forum:... What was causing that problem? It could be a solution. But I'm not shure wether there will be problems with my Joomla Installation. I always use mysqli. On italobikes.com I use JoomFish and Marketplace 2 with the mysqli driver and it's running perfect. Check it out on a test system. Regards Achim -- Achim Fischer Codingfish Limited www.codingfish.com |

25.04.2010 19:51Re: No valid database connectionWhat was causing that problem? The problems started as soon as I installed Joomfish. After changing to mysqli the sql error message disapeard. I always use mysqli. On italobikes.com I use JoomFish and Marketplace 2 with the mysqli driver and it's running perfect. So it shouldn't make any problems if I change from mysql to mysqli on a working livesite? www.panmusic.ch |
