13.04.2010 04:56Some suggestion easier navigation and more powerful!Hi ADMIN! I'm now deep in love wit your marketplace component :D. Here are my some very personal ideas just to improve the component and hope people love this too. I will post an images for a clearly view. First of all. I just wonder that do the component can auto resize the Entry images to a fixed size? If not I hope it will be present in the next release. Sencond, It will be more easy to navigate between For Sell - Trading - and Buying sector if they are stay in diferent Tabs(like the image attached). Hope this one is a good ideas. That's already in. It's working like this: Image is uploaded in original size and the resized to a big image and a thumbnail. So you have 3 images. The size for the big image is currently hardcoded (800x600 I believe) but I will move that in the backend configuration.

27.04.2010 03:19Re: Some suggestion easier navigation and more powerful!My suggestion for MarketPlace is in the Step 2/3 when user put the New Entry: can you put an option for use to choose their profile/signature for this step ? it saves time for user each time they post new entry. For example, my users want to sell 10 separate CD (10 items), then each time they have to fill up step 2/3... The other case: I make a category for a power seller, so he has a fix contact info., then he does not need to input these info. in each listing items. I believe Achim can do this by add profile/signature function from Discussions (forum). Thanks www.sotayamnhac.com |
