22.03.2010 04:35Errors in Marketplace 2.0 Beta 3I have just installed Marketplace 2.0 beta 3 and have good and bad news. Good News: It installed cleanly with no issues. I was able to create the categories and manually recreate the ads from our current site from the backend with no problem. I was also able to create a menu item page with Marketplace. Now the bad news: 1. When I created the page on the site, I only get a list of the categories and each category does not link into a list of ads. 2. When I create a page listed as index, there is no list of ads that I entered. 3. I am also seeing the messages listed in an earlier post and will try applying the fix in the PHP.ini file as listed. Suggestions: 1. If there will not be a direct upgrade from a Joomla 1.0x to 1.5 with Marketplace, then an indirect upgrade of the existing ads would be very helpful. Either through a table restore/upgrade process, or by a read of the Joomla 1.0x site into the 1.5 site. 2. Since there looks to be a category list that should be linked to the ads within the categories, a last 5 posted or 1 - 10 random ads module would be great. System: Windows 2008 R2 XAMPP 1.6.7 MySQL 5.0.51b PHP 5.2.6 |

Did you create the categories like that (see screenshot attached)?

These 2 top categories have subcategories which contain the entries. The top categories act like containers to seperate groups of categories (has_entries=0 in old Marketplace).
